The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives, World-Class Comfort and Sumptuous Elegance
June 7, 2008
Have you ever dreamt to spend your honeymoon vacation on some tropical isle? You, too? What a coincidence. Well, maybe not, since you worked so hard planning your wedding it’s time to relax and to get away to someplace lush, quiet, and romantic. I found a perfect place for you: The Beach House at Manafaru Maldives.
The Maldives is a little group of atolls in the Indian Ocean. The Beach House - opened in February 2008 - is located at the northern tip, in a pure blue tiny island called Haa Alifu Atoll.
Occupying 35 acres of the island, the resort is a stunning paradise hideaway where luxurious selection meets wild natural beauty. It gets even better.
Surrounded by clean, deserted lagoons you can swim lazily through the warm waters to your heart’s content. You can scuba dive for a few hours and never see the same kind of fish twice. Astounding. If you need some instruction, don’t worry. There are 5-star PADI certified instructors on staff.
But, natch, after all that exercise you’re going to want to relax and be pampered. Lucky for you (and me!), the Beach House offers a dozen ways to do that, all of them stellar.
Shui is a little area hidden away inside an easy-to-navigate tropical jungle. Birds chatter away as you saunter over a series of small bridges to the spa area. Once you get there, you may never want to go back to your splendid room. I didn’t!
Thai yoga to work out those kinks. Japanese Shiatsu massage to have them worked out for you. A manicure and pedicure, just because you deserve it. And, the best juice bar around for hundreds of miles…
Ok, now you’re getting hungry. I did. Wander over to the Four Corners restaurant. You can have a dish from just about any style of cuisine you can think of. But I recommend the Indian Ocean King Scallops terrine. Still, if a cheeseburger suits your style, that’s on the menu, too. They’re open from 7 in the morning to 10:30 at night. Dress a little nicer for dinner just to show off those great clothes you bought in Hong Kong.
And the rooms are to die for. But don’t
You’ll want to come back again another time. The Grand Beach Pavilion offers two bedrooms, a dining room, two open-air bathrooms, and its own sauna! Lots of other extras, too. Perfect for anyone looking for the ideal honeymoon spot. Equally great if you’re looking for a heavenly place to get married.
Check out the photos on the site and you won’t doubt anything I’ve said. Then grab your passport, because you’re in for the most idyllic vacation you’ve ever had at the Beach House at Manafaru Maldives.
I love to hear your experiences if you spent your honeymoon or held your wedding in this hotel. This will help all couples who are currently planning a wedding and looking for a wedding and/or honeymoon destination. Any other tips and suggestions are welcome as well
